Cashion Elementary Student Dropoff Procedures
Dear Cashion Elementary Family/Stakeholders,
We are excited to welcome back our students for our 2023-2024 school year where we will, “Dream Big, Work Hard”. Our goal is to ensure that we can provide your child with a safe environment in which to learn. With safety at the top of our list, we will continue with the procedure of parents only being allowed to escort their child to the elementary drop off door on the west side of the building. You may pull up in the car line and drop your child off or park in the west parking lot to walk your child to the cafeteria door.
We want a smooth transition for you and your child on the first day of school. Mrs. Maroney, Mrs. LaGasse and Mrs. Phillips (PreK Teachers), Mrs. Sample, Mrs. Liles and myself will be meeting and greeting you and your child and escorting them to their classroom.
****Doors open at 7:50am for the arrival of students and start time is 8:25am****
The following are a few housekeeping items that need to be covered:
- We ask that your children not bring Pokemon cards or other toys to school.
- If a student has a cell phone, it must be turned off and left in their backpack. They are not allowed to be out at any time during the school day. Any messages or notifications for your student need to be corresponded through the office. Please try to get these messages to the office by 2pm so we can relay the message. Please make sure your child understands these rules.
- Please send prepackaged or store bought items for your child’s birthday celebration. We will be happy to send you a picture of your child sharing with their classmates after we celebrate them.
We want to thank everyone for their support and patience as we kick off the new school year. Our goal at Cashion Elementary is to help our students grow in their educational journey and we are excited your child is a part of our school!
If you have further questions or concerns please feel free to email me at lblosser@cashionps.org or Lori Liles at lliles@cashionps.org. We will be glad to answer your questions or address any concerns.
Sincerely,
Lauri Blosser Lori Liles
