Cashion Public Schools is in the middle of a multi-phase construction and renovation plan that reflects the district’s commitment to growth, excellence, and community pride. From athletic upgrades to new academic facilities, major improvements are underway that will benefit both current and future Wildcats.
New Stadium Under Construction
Construction has officially begun on a new stadium located at the current track facility. This project includes turfing the football field, installing 1,000 seats with a press box, adding modern stadium lighting, and building a new video scoreboard. Once complete, the stadium will provide a high-quality game-day experience for athletes, students, and fans alike.
Softball Complex Upgrades
Work is also progressing at the softball complex. The field is being upgraded with brand-new turf, a concrete block backstop, protective netting, and new field fencing. These improvements are designed to enhance safety, performance, and durability while also creating a more professional environment for our student-athletes.
New High School and Field House on the Horizon
Behind the scenes, the district is finalizing architectural plans for a brand-new high school and athletic field house. The project is expected to break ground this August. Once complete, the new high school will feature modern classrooms, upgraded learning spaces, and expanded academic resources. The field house will provide improved locker rooms, training facilities, and support areas for student-athletes.
Superintendent's Statement
“These upgrades are an investment in our students, staff, and community,” said Superintendent Shane Hood. “We are proud of the progress and thankful for the support we’ve received throughout this process. These improvements will serve our school and community for many years to come.”
Looking Ahead
Cashion Public Schools is focused on creating a future where students have access to high-quality facilities that support academic achievement and athletic success. These construction projects are more than just buildings—they represent a bold step toward a stronger, more vibrant future for Cashion.
